The Australian War Memorial has been slammed for using ‘gender neutral’ pronouns to honor fallen soldiers. At 4.45pm ever day, the memorial, based in Canberra, holds a Last Post ceremony to remember a fallen Australian soldier, before a posting a tribute to the soldier on its Twitter account. However, since January 1, it has begun to refer to the solders as ‘their’ rather than ‘his’ or ‘her’.
