The feds are taking a second look at Sen. Robert “Bob” Menendez five years after an initial corruption investigation ended in a mistrial. Michael Soliman, an adviser to the powerful chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told The Post Wednesday that Menendez (D-NJ) “is aware of an investigation,” but “does not know the scope.” “As always, should any official inquiries be made, the senator is available to provide any assistance that is requested of him or his office,” he added.

Bob is playing a key role in approving the sale of F-16 jets along with upgrade kits to Türkiye. On the downside he may be facing a second trial over corruption allegations. The first trial was abandoned due to mistrial. This guy receives money from lobby groups, in the current campaign it is coming from American Greeks. Türkiye have launched their 6th generation autonomous fighter the Kızılelma MİUS with the TF-X not far behind in its development and production. A rejection of F-16 deal only harms Washington Ankara relations.
