Former journalist Kari Lake won the GOP gubernatorial primary in Arizona. The AP called the race two days after polls closed on Tuesday. She defeated lawyer Karrin Taylor Robson. Lake, who supported former President Barack Obama and was backed by former President Donald Trump, was expected to win. She will face Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, a Democrat, in the November general election.
