Amazon Relocating 1,800 Employees out of Downtown Liberal Seattle Due To Rising Crime

Amazon announced on Friday that it has decided to relocate office staff in downtown Seattle due to a sustained uptick in violent crime, with other businesses in the area opting to stick with remote work for the same reason. The location that office workers are being moved from employs around 1,800 people, the company confirmed to KOMO News. However, it is currently unclear how many are being relocated as many have continued to work remotely since the start of the pandemic two years ago.
