‘The View’ is Having a Hard Time Finding a Conservative Host

The View has been struggling to find a successor to Meghan McCain as the show’s conservative foil, reported Politico Playbook on Monday. McCain left the show in July 2021 after four years. Since then, the show, currently in its 25th season, has had a rotation of guest hosts including former Rep. Mia Love (R-UT), former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, CNN’s S.E. Cupp, former State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus, former White House Communications Director Alyssa Farah, former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson, former GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, CNN’s Ana Navarro, and Mary Katharine Ham, and former Fox News co-host Eboni Williams.

They can only pick someone who doesn’t go for the conspiracy stuff of the 2020 election, but has enough solid conservatives credentials as to not piss off MAGA. But they also need someone who’s smart enough not to ever think that far-Left extremists like Hostin, Goldberg and esp. Behar are her ‘friends’ either. Ann Coulter would be perfect and so would Mary Katherine Ham, but does either one really want the job?
