Akuapem Poloo, an actress and model, who went viral for a controversial photoshoot with her son has been sentenced to 3-month imprisonment for posing nude with her son on his 7th birthday anniversary mid last year. She was charged with the publication of obscene material, engaging in violence that undermines privacy and integrity, or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being. She reportedly broke down in tears when the sentence was read in an Accra court house. Poloo had posted the pictures on her instagram page.
