Day After Whistleblower Blows Cover On Facebook’s Algorithm, Site Goes Down For Hours

Facebook’s platforms, including Instagram and WhatsApp, are suffering from widespread outages Monday. According to DownDetecter, thousands of users across the globe began reporting outages on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp and Oculus around 11 a.m. Monday. “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products,” Facebook spokesperson Andy Stone tweeted. “We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”

No way that the Facebook outage today is just a coincidence…not after this whistleblower spoke on record.
