Liz Cheney’s Obsession with Donald Trump is Hurting the GOP and She Doesn’t Care
Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney (R) defended herself in a Wednesday op-ed and doubled down on her aggressive criticism of former President Donald Trump, saying he threatened to do “long-term damage” to the country. “The Republican Party is at a turning point, and Republicans must decide whether we are going to choose truth and fidelity to the Constitution,” Cheney wrote in the op-ed, published in The Washington Post on Wednesday evening.
Hey, it’s a free country so Liz Cheney can say whatever she wants to say. But the problem here is that Cheney’s stance on Trump in general, the 2020 Election and the Jan. 6 riots on the Capitol are all well-known. She hates Trump and Trump hates her. She voted to impeach him last year, one of only 10 GOP members in the House to do so. Point made. But now, despite Trump no longer being President, Cheney refuses to move on. Her whole life now is about responding to every single thing Trump says or does or every Trump diss towards her. And guess who’s loving this stupid feud? The Left, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Schumer and all their peon’s at CNN and MSNBC who all hate Trump and salivate at even the idea of GOP infighting. And Liz Cheney has to know this, but it’s gotten to the point where she really doesn’t give a fuck. It’s about Trump over party for her. She doesn’t care about losing her Conference chair and probably doesn’t care either about losing her race next for re-election because the bitter hate she has for 45 has all but consumed her. And that’s sad to watch.
