Derek Chauvin’s Attorney Files for New Trial, Alleging Jury Misconduct

Derek Chauvin’s legal team has just filed for a new trial in his case. Chauvin was convicted on April 20 of three counts in the death of George Floyd – second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter. His attorney, Eric Nelson, is alleging multiple grounds for the new trial, including jury misconduct.
